Like this, we receive a ton of inquiries, and we are pleased to assist. Several of them are debating the color, height, and spacing of the light fixtures. Happy to assist, please. Sharing an illustration, in our opinion, will encourage you to consider all that we do.

led lighting scheme for warehouse

fast generalization.

Brightness;

14K lumens at 120 degrees, projected at 10-15 feet.

from 14 to 20 feet, 21K lumens at 120 degrees

35k lumens at 120 degrees and 20 to 30 feet

A 42k+ lumen output at 60, 90, or 120 degrees above 30

Spacing;

Specifically, space them 10 feet apart from one another at the same height as hanging. 15 feet, evenly spaced. Get out to a lighting specialist if the subject is over 25, and we need to move closer or switch lenses.

These are a few current examples.

This email is provided;

To work on and detail automobiles, I have a 40x70 warehouse. For better lighting and cheaper energy, I wish to switch from my current lighting to led. As of right now, the lights are 17 feet off the ground. I was seeing your 100 watt high bay UFO lights and your 150 watt high bay UFO lights. What do you think about this? I need to know how many, how many at what distances, etc. Thanks a lot.

First, let's respond;

Bob,

I appreciate you making contact. You're doing it right because those lights are fantastic. You can operate at 100 watts or 150 watts at a 120 broad angle from a height of 17 feet. The light shines at that angle. Until we get closer to 18 feet up and above, I typically do not advise 150 watts. The cutoff is just where you are.

Use the 120-inch wide, 150-watt high bay lights. We advise using 150 watts at 14–20 feet. You can use a broader angle at a height of 17 feet while still getting good ground illumination. Hence, the 6x3 design would provide you with adequate coverage. For greater brightness, multiply 7x3 by 21 lights.

All of this may be done with dimmable high bay light versions if you have extra wiring available, allowing you to adjust the brightness up or down to save energy. A few sections may be created. Perhaps turn down the light in the portion of the warehouse that is solely occupied by parked automobiles while keeping the remainder fully lit. For additional information on these, see our knowledge base or watch our video on 0-10v dimming.

Employ high bay lights that are 100 watts each, spaced 8 to 14 feet apart (8 for high brightness, 14 for adequate). To get basic lighting, for instance, use a 6x3 design with 18 lights. For medium brightness, use a 7x3 pattern (or a 6x4/8x3 pattern depending on the wiring) with 21–24 lights. It would be really bright at 8x4 for 32. Thus, that is really a projection. Somewhere, someplace.

For bright lighting, I'd definitely advise 21 of the 100 watt dimmable high bay lights. (Because I don't know any more)

Also, everything of this has bulk pricing. chosen lighting hue and angle. inclusive in every way. A five-year warranty, complete liability insurance, toll-free phone support, and no tax outside of California are included.

If you have any additional queries, don't hesitate to call me.

Thanks

Bill

The installation of LED high bay lights

Here is another email;

I'm looking for advice on lighting my 30 by 40-foot shop. At a peak height of 17 feet, the sides are 14 feet. I utilize what.

Here is our follow-up response;

I appreciate you making contact. 2 rows of 2 lights per row make up the majority of the lighting in our shops. It works perfectly and produces wonderful results with anything 20 to 40 feet by 20 to 40 feet. We have four of our 150 watt UFO high bay lights that I would suggest. Although shadows are reduced by light coming from at least two directions, we should never utilize fewer than four lights. Hence, even on the 20x20, we use 4, which may be a bit excessive in terms of lumens but is preferred because it ensures consistency.

Consult an expert if you're unsure.

You can see that there are a lot of different factors that affect lighting design, forcing you to consider many different possibilities. Amount of fixtures, brightness, height, light angle, and places where wiring can actually be run are only a few of the variables. This is analyzed in amazing detail by a field of research called photometrics. They may complete a full design for bigger structures. Just not worth it for anything like this.

Our client chose 21 of the 100 watt LED High Bay lights and then emailed us to express their satisfaction.
